FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Track and Field athletes Talon Rowland and Yauvani Liddelow were honored by the SUNYAC on Monday. Rowland was named the Male Track Athlete of the Week, and Liddelow was named the Female Field Athlete of the Week. Both are now tops in their respective events in the SUNYAC rankings.

Rowland ran a 49.08 in the 400m dash at the Ocean Breeze Meet in Staten Island on Saturday. That placed him second out of 131 sprinters and also put him at No. 2 on Fredonia State's all-time list.

Liddelow leaped 37-3.24 in the triple jump which placed her second in a field of 32 competitors. She also has the top distance in the SUNYAC this season and ranks in the Top 30 nationally.
