OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Oswego scored a pair of early goals and that would be all they needed as they downed the Fredonia State men's hockey team, 4-0, on Friday evening. The first score came 1:50 into the game, and the next at the 4:22 mark. After a scoreless second period, the Lakers would add two more goals in the third.
Charles-Anthony Barbeau had another busy night for the Devils, stopping 33 shots in net. Oswego's Michael Manzi had 21 saves for the shutout.
Braden Cohen, Aidan Cooper, Collin Vassallo, and Cam Symons scored for the Lakers, who improved to 16-6-2 and 13-4-0 in the SUNYAC.
The Devils (4-19-1 / 4-12-1) wrap up the regular season Saturday at Hobart. Gametime is slated for 4 p.m.
