FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Penn State Behrend finally found the net following a defensive battle when Lizzie Hoff took a long lead pass from Lindsey Pawlawski to score the game's only goal with 4:32 showing on the clock, as the Fredonia State women's soccer team fell 1-0 to Behrend on Tuesday evening.

Casey Fetzner, the reigning SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Week, made nine saves in net for the Devils. Her counterpart, Riley Morningstar, made six saves for Behrend. 

Anna Ratchuk kept up the offensive pressure with four of the Devils' shots on goal.

Behrend is now 3-1-2, while Fredonia State drops to 2-3-2.

The Devils open up conference play on Saturday with a trip to Plattsburgh.
