FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Hilbert College Hawks defeated Fredonia State, 3-2, in women's college volleyball action on Wednesday. The Hawks completed the season sweep of the Blue Devils.
Hilbert (18-10) won the march with set scores of 22-25, 25-13. 25-19, 17-25, and 15-10.
Kylie O'Brien led the Fredonia State offense with 15 kills and Maeve Musilak had three aces.
Payton Stoddard had 20 assists. Defensively,
Kailea Sullivan had 18 digs and Musielak had 16.
Cayla Partsch had a team-high three blocks
Prior to the game, the team's two seniors were recognized for their contributions to the program. Sullivan and
Emma Foley were significant contributors in four seasons with the team.
The Devils (11-14) are back home on Saturday with a tri-match with John Carroll and RIT.
