FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's basketball team fell to New Paltz, 74-60, on Saturday evening.
Keenan Roberts Jr. led the Devils with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and
Brandon Kulakowski added 10 points and six boards.
New Paltz jumped out to a 20-6 lead. The Devils battled back into it after a 16-7 run, making it a five point game. The Hawks would lead 40-27 at the half.
The second half was tightly contested, with New Paltz outscoring the Devils 34-33 to give the final.
Fredonia State outrebounded Cortland, 34-28. The Devils went 6-16 from long range, and the Hawks were 10-24.
Lucas Seyoum led New Paltz with 21 points.
Fredonia State hits the road Tuesday with a women's/men's doubleheader at Cortland.
