OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's basketball team fell to Oswego, 72-56, on Saturday. Freshman Kaylyn Sweeney led the Devils with 12 points and fellow freshman Jayssa Snelick grabbed a team-high seven rebounds, and added nine points. Allie Wandell also added seven boards.

Oswego scored the game's first six points and never looked back. They led 22-17 after the first quarter and 41-29 at the half.

The Lakers (10-7,7-3 SUNYAC) were paced by Giavanna White-Principio with 22 points and 12 rebounds.

The Devils (5-9,2-6 SUNYAC) head to Morrisville on Tuesday.
