BRADFORD, PA. --
Brian Taylor added two more goals, giving him nine on the season, and Carson Teijeria added a pair of scores as the Fredonia State men's soccer team took down Pitt-Bradford, 9-1, on Wednesday evening.
Taylor had both his scores in the first half, as the Devils jumped out to a 5-0 lead.
Chance LaCroix wasted little time in getting the Devils on the board, scoring 2:15 into the game.
Teijeira and
Liam Winters both added first-half goals.
The Devils scored four more times in the second half before the Panthers finally got on the board.
Jake Murray, Vincent DiBello, Teijeira, and
Oliver Spinola each connected.
Bradford's goal came in the 87th minute to spoil the shutout.
Jack Phelan had one save in goal for the Devils. They outshot Bradford, 26-5, and 17-2 in shots on goal.
For Fredonia State,
Sam Evans had two assists, and Murray, LaCroix,
Kyto Magee,
Huddy Kwiatkowski, and
Zach Luce each added helpers.
Bradford drops to 0-7, while the Devils move to 5-4-2.
The Devils are home on Saturday in a SUNYAC contest vs. Canton at 1:00 p.m. at University Stadium.
