FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's lacrosse team concluded their final game of the 2024 season with a 23-1 loss to SUNY Geneseo on Wednesday. 

The Knights manufactured a 16-goal lead by intermission and secured the 22-goal victory by the final horn. The Devils recorded four shots on goal and won 12 draw controls against the Knights. Noelle Mendez led the Devils with one goal, one ground ball and three draw controls. Sydney Buchko added four draw controls and Megan Karalus added two ground balls as well. 

In goal Jessica Kowalski and Ashleigh Manns combined for three saves. Geneseo had 12 different players record a goal with Emily Salanger finishing with a game high four goals. 

The Devils wrap up the 2024 season with an overall mark of 5-11 and 1-8 in the SUNYAC.
