OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The Oswego State Lakers proved to be to much for the Fredonia State men's basketball team on Friday night. The Lakers defeated the Devils by a final score of 111-70.
Oswego State would put together a impressive night on offense scoring over 50 points in each half. The Lakers defense suffocated Fredonia State as the Lakers caused 22 turnovers and would shoot 52% from the field and 35% from the three point line on the night.
Fredonia State was lead by
Derek Reed and
Isaiah Youngquist who each score 12 points and would shoot a combined 12-15 from the field. Deandre Hayes and
Jykevious Searcy would lead the Devils in rebounding with each grabbing four rebounds.
Oswego State's Julien Crittendon and Kaleb Cook each scored a game high 18 points Jamal Achile would have a game high six rebounds.
Fredonia State closes out the 2023-24 season Saturday, February 17th at Cortland with a 4:00 p.m. start time.
