CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The Cortland Red Dragons women's basketball defeated the Fredonia State Blue Devils Saturday. The Dragons would out pace the Devils throughout the game and would go on to win 90-58.Â
Turnovers would prove costly for the Devils as Fredonia State turned the ball over 23 times leading to 32 points for Cortland. The Dragons would remain aggressive on offense scoring 44 points inside and would score 22 points from the free throw line.Â
The top performer for Fredonia State would be
Renee Park who would score a team high 15 points and have 6 rebounds.
Kyla Smith would add nine points off the bench and
Grace Alexander would go for seven as well.Â
Cortland's Emily Morano would have a impressive outing scoring a game high 20 points and seven rebounds.The Red Dragons would finish the game having five players score in the double digits.Â
This was the final game for Fredonia State in the 2023-24 season, the Devils will return to the court next November for the 2024-25 campaign.Â
