FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Sophomore
Kylie O'Brien's strong performance was overshadowed by the Cortland Red Dragons taking down the Blue Devils in straight sets, 3-0, on Friday evening. O'Brien accumulated 12 kills in the three sets.
Erin Callahan added eight kills and
Molly Cassidy had 15 assists.
Maeve Musielak led the defense with 18 digs and
Cayla Partsch added two blocks.
Cortland (20-5 / 7-0 SUNYAC) remained atop the conference standings and were led by Anna Pilkey's nine kills. They won the sets by scores of 25-16, 25-19, and 25-19.
The Devils (9-15 / 2-4 SUNYAC) are back in action Saturday with a 1 p.m. contest vs. Morrisville.
