GENESEO, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's basketball team fell 79-75 at Geneseo on Tuesday evening. After Geneseo would lead 31-30 at the half, the Devils would take brief lead early in the second half on a jumper by
Tyrese Fuller, making it 37-25 in favor of Fredonia State.
The Devils would keep it close, but the Knights would gradually pull away later in the half.
Fuller led the Devils with 15 points and six rebounds, and
Malik Jemison had 15 points and five boards.
David Jordan added 14 points.
Justin Yearwood led a quartet of Kinghts in double digits with 16 points. Geneseo improved its record to 5-7 and 2-3 in the SUNYAC.
Fredonia State falls to 5-6 overall and 2-2 in the SUNYAC. The men return to Dods Hall this weekend. They take on New Paltz on Friday and Oneonta on Saturday.
