PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -- The Fredonia Stae baseball team came up short on both ends of a doubleheader at Plattsburgh on Saturday. They fell 3-0 in Game 1, then dropped the back end of the doubleheader, 13-0.
In Game 1, starting oitcher
Morgan Zientara went seven strong innings, giving up two runs. Unfortunately, the Fredonia State offense could only scratch out six hits without scoring a run.
Jake Wentland had two hits and and a stolen base to pace the Devils.
Game 2 saw the Devils shutout again, this time only getting three hits.
Garrett Stuckey would get two hits in the doubleheader.
This marks the end of the season for the Blue Devils.
