Julie Culver made her presence felt all night with 5 goals while Erin Woods and Sydney Buchko scored three goals each for Fredonia State. The Blue Devils found themselves down early with the Flyers scoring the first five goals of the game. Fredonia would make the most of their free position shots, scoring three goals to close the gap 6-3. After a quick Nazareth score early to start the second, the devils would dig in, scoring two strait goals to cut into the Flyers lead 8-6. Both teams would exchange a pair of goals to close the half with a late score from Culver with 1.5 left on the clock to make the score 10-8. Nazareth would jump the Devils in the third going for 4 strait scores to push their lead to the biggest of the night 14-8. Woods would find a cutting Buchko to give the Devils their first score of the the second half. The Devils would quickly score again off a free position shot from Culver to make the score 14-10 Nazareth. Unfortunately, this would be as close as the Devils would get with Flyers maintaining at least a four goal advantage to close out the game down the stretch. Emily Carr would lead the Devils in ground balls with four and would have six saves. Buchko had a game high 11 draw controls as well. The Devils fall to 4-2 on the season and have a quick turnaround with a game against Ohio Northern University scheduled for March 16th at 4:00 p.m. to close out their Florida road trip.
