BOXSCORE OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State and Oswego hockey teams did not waste time getting into the scoring column on Friday evening. The teams combined for three goals in the first eight minutes, and the No. 9 ranked Lakers would eventually pull out a 4-1 victory.
Oswego's Tristan Francis scored 3:17 into the game. Four minutes later,
Johnny Malandruccolo tied tings up with a shorthanded goal.
A power play by the Lakers resulted in a Brett Nolan score at the 8:02 mark.
Travis Baker scored for the Lakers to make it 3-1 Lakers at the intermission.
After a scoreless second period, Tyler Flack scored late in the third to give the final score.
