BOXSCORE FREDONIA, N.Y. --- The Fredonia State Women's Volleyball Team fell to Penn State Behrend on Wednesday night. The Blue Devils dropped a 3-0 decision following 25-21, 26-14, and 25-18 set scores.

The Blue Devils recorded 20 kills on 91 total attempts to earn a .011 hitting percentage over the three sets.

Fredonia State's top performance of the night came in the third set.

The Blue Devils started hot in the third stanza and looked to be erasing a two-set deficit. They opened the set with a 4-3 advantage, before going back and fourth with Lions until their 18th point. Behrend then put the set and match away with five straight unanswered points.

Kailea Sullivan had a team high in digs, with nine throughout the three sets.
Kourtney Krchniak led the team with ten assists.
Three Blue Devils tied for a team high in kills;Â Krchniak,
Amaya Lewczyk, and
Gabrielle Chilcott. They all had four throughout the match.

Fredonia State travels to Erie, P.A. to compete in the Behrend Invitational this upcoming weekend. The Blue Devils will play Geneva, Grove City, and Washington & Jefferson.Â
