CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State volleyball team drop straight sets to SUNYAC-leading Cortland, 25-17, 25-15, and 25-15, on Friday evening. 

Top offensive performance by the Devils were by Amaya Lewczyk with nine kills. Erin Callahan and Gabrielle Sordetto had seven apiece. Kourtney Krchniak set up her teammates with 20 assists.

Defensively, Kailea Sullivan had 14 digs. Madeline Reid and Sordetto each had two blocks.

Fredonia State drops to 0-2 in the SUNYAC and 1-13 overall. Cortland stays perfect in the conference at 4-0, and moves to 10-3 overall.

The Devils spend the evening in Central New York, then take on Oswego on Saturday.
