FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Sembel Koshi (Buffalo, N.Y.) was the top Blue Devil and the second overall runner at the Kara Hall Memorial Invite on Saturday. Koshi finished the course in a time of 20:36.60. Gannon and Mercyhurst also competed.
Other top finishers for the Devils were
Josh Walters (5th, 20:52.17),
Kyle Campbell (7th, 21:13.77), Patrick Klinger (9th, 21:39.62), Ted Tomasello (10th, 21:42.86), and
Ethan Pocock (12th, 22:17.40). A squad of Devils finished packed at 19, 21, 22 and 25 -- Nick Abdo (23:18.88), Samuel Cottrell (23:43.26),
Aaron Mendez (23:46.67), and
Joseph Hernandez-Bentley (24:37.53).
Caleb Mandel of Gannon was the top runner in a time of 20:21.30.
Fredonia State won the team score with five of the top ten finishers.
The Devils return to action in two weeks at the U of R Yellow Jacket Invitational.
