FREDONIA, N.Y. ---  The Fredonia State women's lacrosse team dropped a 21-2 game to Geneseo, on Thursday afternoon. Erin Woods was able to find the back of the net twice within the first quarter, to give the Devils their only goals of the game. Emily Carr had 13 saves in goal for the Blue Devils.

The Blue Devils kept the game close within the first quarter, holding the Knights to a 5-2 lead.

The rest of the game was in Geneseo's favor as they scored 16 unanswered goals to end the game.

Geneseo improve to 10-2 overall and 6-1 in the SUNYAC.

Fredonia State falls to 1-12 overall and 0-6 in the SUNYAC.

On Saturday, the Blue Devils travel to Cortland to take on the Red Dragons at 12:30 P.M.
