FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's lacrosse team led 3-2 late in the first quarter, but would eventually fall to Plattsburgh, 14-7 on Saturday. 
Erin Woods led the Devils with two goals and an assist, and 
Molly McGowan had two goals. 
The Devils received one score each from 
Makayalla Farino, 
Tessa Brady, and 
Sydney Buchko. 
Emily Carr made 13 saves. 
Oswego's Caroline Noia led all scorers with three goals and Emily Caoili had one goal and three assists.
Fredonia State's 
Erin Woods score with 4:39 left in the first to give the Devils a 3-2 lead. Plattsburgh answered by scoring the next eight goals, the last coming with just over 12 minutes left in the third quarter.
From that point, the teams would each score four goals to give the final. 
Fredonia State falls to 0-7 and 0-2 in the SUNYAC, and Plattsburgh moved to 3-4 and 1-1 in the conference. 
The Devils travel to Brockport on Tuesday.
