NAZARETH, N.Y. --
Josh Walters turned in the top performance by a Blue Devil at the Nazareth Alumni Opener indoor track meet on Friday. Walters was second among 26 competitors in the 1000m run, crossing the finish line in a time of 2:34.61.
The duo of
Nick Abdo and
Toby Onuoha put together solid races. Both turned in regional qualifying times in the 400m, with Abdo taking sixth (51.02) and Onuoha on his heels in seventh (51.06). They teamed up with Walters and
Nick Marsowicz to capture fourth place in the 4x400 relay.
Onuoha added a fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.86m (6-1 ¼ feet).
