FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's basketball squad came up just short in a back-and-forth affair, falling to Cortland 70-64 on Friday evening. AJ Knight led the Devils with 20 points and Aaron Collins added 17. Jacob Hougan added 10 points, six rebounds, and two blocks. 

Knight and Collins both connected for five threes as the Devils fell to 0-2 in the SUNYAC and 0-8 overall. 

Austin Grunder led Cortland (4-1/2- SUNYAC) with 17 points and 17 rebounds.

The Devils hit the road for a 4 p.m. game in Geneseo tomorrow as part of a women's/men's doubleheader.
