FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's soccer team battled visiting Brockport to a 1-1 tie on Wednesday evening. Bri Grazen scored the team's goal and Sabrina Suriani made nine saves for the Devils.

Brockport's Franchesca Polcaro opened the scoring for yhe Eagles with a goal in the 18th minute. Sophia DeAngelo assisted. The 1-0 lead would hold up through the half.

Grazen tied the game early in the second half. Lexi Lindamer assisted Grazen on her third goal of the season in the 52nd minute..

Suriani allowed one goal while making her nine saves. Kayla Usborne made two saves and allowed a single score in goal for Brockport.

Brockport pushed the action from the offensive end, leading in shots, 17-3, and in corner kicks, 10-2. The Golden Eagles are now 3-5-3 overall and 2-2-1 in the SUNYAC.

Next up for the Devils (2-6-3 / 0-4-1) is a Saturday road trip to Potsdam.
