BOXSCORE 1 | BOXSCORE 2 ERIE, Pa. -- The Fredonia State women's volleyball team defeated Bluffton three-sets-to-two, then fell in three straight to John Carroll on Day 2 of the Penn State Behrend Invitational on Saturday. Following the tourney, Emily Jones was named to the All Tournament team.

Against Bluffton, Jones smashed 20 kills, with support from Brinn Shaughnessy with 14, and Christie Ackendorf with 10 kills. Sierra Keim had five aces and 31 digs. Taylor Beck also had five aces. Selena Brown added a team high six blocks and seven kills.

The Devils won by set scores of 20-25, 25-21, 24-26, 25-20, and 15-10.

The Devils dropped the later match by scores of 22-25, 17-25, 20-25. 

Jones again led the way with 11 kills and added a team-high four aces. Keim had 13 digs.

The Devils (3-4) open up SUNYAC play when they travel to Buffalo State on Tuesday.
