NORTH CHILI, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's 4x400 relay team competed Friday night at the Redhawks Capstone Meet hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College.
The quartet of
TyeRyan Burke,
Topher Elkins,
Collin Barmore, and
Toby Onuoha turned in a season-best time of 3:23.31, which placed them fifth overall. They finished second at last weekend's SUNYAC meet in 3:26.68 to earn a place in the All-Atlantic Regional meet.
In other events Friday:
Onuoha finished fifth in the men's high jump by clearing 1.85 meters (6 feet, 3/4 of an inch).
Burke was the fasted of three Blue Devils to compete in the men's 400 meters. He finished fourth in 50.64 seconds, Elkins was seventh in a personal-best 51.26 seconds, and Barmore clocked out in 52.92 seconds while prepping for the 800 meters at the AARTC meet.
