BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Fredonia State continue its early-season struggles Saturday while falling 20-1 to SUNYAC foe and No. 16 ranked Brockport.
Makayalla Farino scored the line goal for the Blue Devils (0-5 overall, 0-3 SUNYAC, assisted by
Erin Woods, with 20:29 left in the first half. The Golden Eagles (4-2 overall, 3-1 SUNYAC) scored the final 13 goals. They led 13-1 at halftime.
Hannah Mikulec collected two groundballs to lead Fredonia State in the category. She also had one caused turnover to tie for the team lead with
Tessa Brady and
Julie Culver.
Bri Emery was the team leader with two draw controls.
Sydney Booth played the second half in goal and made seven saves.
Cassidy Burnash had five goals to lead Brockport.
Fredonia State take on Wells at 4:30 p.m Monday on the University Stadium turf.
