BUFFALO, N.Y.-- Fredonia defeated D'Youville 13-10 in thanks to four straight goals in the second half.
After the Spartans tied the game at nine with 16:40 remaining in regulation, unassisted goals from
Alyssa Kissel,
Erin Woods,
Allison Coon, and Kissel again put the Spartans chances out of reach.
Woods scored four goals on just five shots. She also assisted on
Julia Nicolosi's only goal in the first half. Kissel matched Woods with a four goal game and scooped up a pair of groundballs.
Fredoina goalie,
Emily Carr, stopped eight shots and finished the game with a 44% save percentage for her second win this season in net.
Natalie Prims found the back of the net for the first time this season off a pass from Coon just a minute and a half into the contest. Freshman
Bri Emery scored her first collegiate goal late in the first half.
