BOXSCORE FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men lost to Westminster (Pa.), 2-1, on the second day of the 2019 Blue Devil Soccer Classic.

Matt Cullen scored the Blue Devil goal on a penalty kick in the 36th minute. The lead stood until early in the second half with Westminster's Nick Iregui converted a PK in the 49th minute for a 1-1 tie.

Westminster's Noah Weiss scored the game-winner in the 79th minute, unassisted. In goal, Ezra Cimino made nine saves. Ty Bentham made six saves for the Blue Devils (1-1-2).

Cullen and Bentham made the Classic all-tournament team from Fredonia. All-tourney for Westminster were Iregui, Cimino, and Ahmed Cisse.

Buffalo State claimed the Classic tile with a 5-0 win over Houghton on the heels of a 4-0 win Friday over Westminster. The Bengals' Theo Pencic was chosen Classic MVP. Zak Shaibi, Nemanja Simic, and Abdi Salim were Buffalo State all-tourney picks.

Ben DiCrasto and Dan Myers were Houghton's all-tourney picks.
