FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State defeated D'Youville, 4-0, during the first day of the Fredonia Blue Devil Soccer Classic at University Stadium.

Melanie Minotti scored the first three Fredonia goals and Jordan Barrett added the fourth while Sabrina Suriani earned the shutout with three saves.

Mount Union edged Oswego State, 2-1, in Friday's first game.

The Classic concludes Saturday with all four teams playing at 12:30 p.m. D'Youville and Oswego meet on the turf field while the Blue Devils and Mount Union play for the championship on the main University Stadium field.
