GENESEO, N.Y. -- Fredonia fell to 3-8 overall and 0-4 in the SUNYAC with a 20-2 women's lacrosse loss Wednesday at Geneseo.

The Blue Devils scored once in each half. Alli Coon scored first with 4:05 left in the first half. A goal by Madeline Haney came with 4:53 left in the game.

Samantha Spiess was credited with four draw controls. Natalie Prims and Kendall Shearn each collected two ground balls.

The Blue Devils take on No. 17 ranked Cortland at 1 p.m. Saturday at University Stadium.
