BOXSCORE 1 | BOXSCORE 2 ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Fredonia women's volleyball team ended its season with a win in its final game of the season at the RIT Classic on Saturday. The Devils swept Montclair State 3-0 after falling to the U of R in the first match of th day.

The Devils finished the day and the season with an impressive win over Montclair (20-9). The Red Hawks are currently ranked No. 8 in their region.

"That was probably the best match we played all year," said head coach Geoff Braun.

Stats were not available as of press time.

As for the team's strong finish, Braun saw some things to build on for next season. On paper, the Devils could return the entire roster having no seniors this year.

"Our offense was running on all cylinders today," said Braun. "Kourtney did a fantastic job. I'm very proud of how we played our last match of the season. When we were eliminated from the postseason two weekends ago we said all the right things. I'm most proud of these young ladies for doing the right things, too."
