CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The Fredonia men's basketball team could not get any momentum going this weekend, dropping a 73-56 game at Cortland. Mark Morgan (Bronx, N.Y. / South Bronx Prep) led the Devils with nine points and five rebounds. Cody Johnson (Cassadaga, N.Y. / Cassadaga) and Tyler Roberts (Rochester, N.Y. / Wheatland Chili) added eight points each, and Isaiah Ice (Bronx, N.Y. / Iona Prep) dished out six assists.

The Devils used three pointers by Ice and Roberts to take the early 6-5 lead. Cortland regained the lead on back-to-back layups and would keep it the rest of the game.

By the half, Cortland was up 36-22. They would maintain a double-digit lead the entire second half.
 
Cortland (8-3 SUNYAC / 14-4 overall) got 21 points from Zach Lydon and 13 from Kenny Charles.

The Devils fall to 1-10 in the conference and 2-16 overall.
