WINTER HAVEN, FL -- Illinois Wesleyan scored the first six batters they sent to the plate and never looked back in a 10-3 win over SUNY Fredonia in college baseball action on Tuesday. The loss broke the Devils' five-game win streak.

The first four batters singled, followed by a walk. Garrett Shea then hit a ball down the left field line that was ruled a fair ball for a grand slam.  The Titans scored run in the second to chase stating pitcher Joe Iacovelli (Vestal, N.Y. / Vestal).

Fredonia got on the board in the second inning. J.T. Angora (Rochester, N.Y. / Rush Henrietta) singled and would advance to third on a wild pitch. Daniel Goodbread (Tully, N.Y. / Tully) hit a deep fly ball to bring him home.

A run in the fourth, and two in the fifth extended the lead to 10-1.

Fredonia scored a pair of runs in the eighth. Patrick Sheehan (West Seneca, N.Y. / Orchard Park) and Goodbread each had a bases-loaded single. The threat ended when Jon Morrison grounded into a double play.

Angora led the Devils with a pair of hits. 

Nicholas Lawlor (Webster, N.Y. / Webster Schroeder) threw five innings of relief, allowing three runs. Eddie Wasnock (Barker, N.Y. / Barker) finished with a pair of scoreless innings in his college debut.

Fredonia falls to 8-2. They take on Knox College on Wednesday.
