Jacob Haynes (Whitby, Ont.) had two goals and an assist to lead Fredonia to a 5-1 non-conference men's hockey win over Bryn Athyn on Stroke Awareness Night
Haynes, a junior forward, earned the No. 1 star and senior forward
Luke Rivera (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) was named Fredonia Blue Devil Booster Club Player of the Game for organizing the event, which has raised $20,000 in the previous two seasons.

Charlie Manley (Orchard Park, N.Y.) had a goal and an assist to earn the No. 2 star. The No. 3 star was freshman forward
Ethan Kirbis (Clarence, N.Y.) with two assists.
Senior forward
Jimmy Morgan (Highlands Ranch, Col.) scored he game-winning goal on a power play at 12:38 of the second period after Haynes evened the score at the 4:34 mark.

Todd Schauss (Terryville, Conn.) completed the scoring for the Blue Devils, who improved to 3-1 and dropped the Lions, a second-year program, to 1-4.
Fredonia junior netminder Anton Rosen (Orsa, Sweden) was credted with 25 saves.
The Stroke Awareness Game, in its third year, was conceived by Rivera during his freshman year and inaugurated a year later in honor of his mom, Dana, a stroke survivor of nine years and counting.

Jerry Fisk, dropped the ceremonial puck during pre-game ceremonies. Mrs. Fisk is also a stroke survivor.
The Blue Devils are off until next Friday when they take on Oswego in a SUNYAC game at 7 p.m.
