BOXSCORE BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Fredonia women's volleyball team picked up a 3-1 non-conference victory over local rival Medaille on Tuesday. The Devils improved their record to 18-9. Fredonia won 25-17, 25-17, 20-25, and 25-23.
Fredonia was led by
SallyAnne Rudny (Jamestown, N.Y. / Southwestern) with nine kills and
Kailey Falk (York, N.Y. / Our Lady of Mercy) with eight. Rudny and
Emily Jones (Plainfield, Ill. / Joliet Catholic) each had three service aces.
Christina Ackendorf (Buffalo, N.Y. / Sweet Home) and
Emma Falk (York, N.Y. / Our Lady of Mercy) paced the defensive effort with three blocks.
Rachel Aiello (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) and
Amanda Mosack (Webster, N.Y. / Webster Schroeder) each had 12 digs. Mosack also finished with 34 assists.
Medaile fell to 7-18.
