FREDONIA, N.Y. --  Matt Cullen (East Northport, N.Y./East Northport) scored for Fredonia and Justin Crovetto scored for Potsdam in a 1-1 SUNYAC men's soccer tie Friday at University Stadium.

Cullen's goal, his third of the season, put the Blue Devils on top 1-0 in the 28th minute. A corner kick by Matt Belardi (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Niagara Wheatfield) set up the goal.

The Bears evened the score in the 50th minute when Crovetto scored after a scrum in front of the net. A short pass by Brandon Igiehon was the final touch before the goal.

Fredonia junior goalkeeper Ty Bentham (Columbus, Ind.) made 10 saves while his counterpart, Jakeb Mitchell, was credited with four.

The Blue Devils are 4-9-2 overall and 1-6-1 in the conference heading into Saturday's regular-season finale vs. Plattsburgh at 1 p.m. on the University Stadium pitch.
