POTSDAM, N.Y. -- The Fredonia women's volleyball team claimed a 3-0 win over SUNY Canton at the Clarkson Tournament on Friday. The Devils won 25-22, 25-19, and 25-17.

Kristen Stanek (Hamburg, N.Y. / Orchard Park) paced the offense with 16 kills, while Hallie Christopher (East Amherst, N.Y. / Clarence) had 27 assists. Courtney Poirier (West Seneca, N.Y. / West Seneca West) led the team with three service aces.

Defensively, Selena Brown (South Ozone Park, N.Y. / Hillcrest) had four blocks and Poirier had 18 digs.

Fredonia improves to 3-3. The Devils take on Clarkson at noon and St. Lawrence University at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
