BOXSCORE MEADVILLE, PA. -- The Fredonia volleyball team dropped a road match at Allegheny on Tuesday evening. The Gators (2-3) won three set to one, 25-21, 22-25, 25-20 and 25-22.

The Devils had a trio of players reach double-digit kills. Rachel Aiello (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) had 18, Kristen Stanek (Hamburg, N.Y. / Orchard Park) 15, and Kailey Falk (York, N.Y. / Our Lady of Mercy) had 10. Stanek added a pair of service aces. Hallie Christopher (East Amherst, N.Y. / Clarence) had 47 assists.

As a team, the Devils only accounted for one block, but made up for it defensively with 81 digs. Aiello led with 22, Courtney Poirier (West Seneca, N.Y. / West Seneca West) had 20, and Stanek had 14.

Leah Franzluebbers led the Gators with 14 kills and four blocks.

The Devils (2-3) travel to Potsdam, N.Y. this weekend to take part in the Clarkson Tournament.
