ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Fredonia fell to 2-4  this season with a 2-0 loss Saturday to Rochester Institute of Technology in women's soccer.

The Blue Devil offense managed just two shots, both by senior Audrey  Yokopovich (Webster, N.Y). One shot was wide, the other was blocked.

RIT scored one goal in each half. Elena Wolfe connected on a penalty kick in the 33rd minute. It remained a one-goal game until the 72nd minute, when Mia White headed in a service into the box for RIT insurance. The Tigers improved to 5-1.

Marissa  Quimby (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) made two saves in the Fredonia net.

The Blue Devils return to Rochester for their next game Tuesday night at St. John Fisher. Game time is 7 p.m.
