PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -- The Fredonia baseball team dropped a 6-4 decision to Plattsburgh on Friday. The Devils led 4-2 in the sixth, but a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh keyed a Cardinal rally.

Fredonia was led by Kevin Yirinec who roped an RBI triple and walked twice. Alexio Medina had a hit and a pair of stolen bases.

Luke Kuczewski absorbed the loss going seven innings and giving up four earned runs.

Fredonia falls to 16-18 on the season.

The teams finish up the series on Saturday,
