CLERMONT, Fla. -- Fredonia scored in every inning Friday against Penn State New Kensington to earn a split of their two games at The Spring Games.
Maddie Cooley (Geneva, N.Y.) smashed a three-run homer to cap a four-run fourth inning as part of a 10-2 win over New Kensington. It was Cooley's second homer of the spring.
Emily Shellenberger (Philadelphia, Pa.) was the winning pitcher (2-1) as the Blue Devils improved to 5-3.
Katie Yudin (Liverpool, N.Y.) had three hits and Cooley had two as part of an 11-hit attack.

Shellenberger pitched a complete-game -- the game was stopped in the last of the fifth by the mercy rule -- while allowing six hits and both New Kensington runs.
Fredonia dropped the opener, 8-2, as Muhlenberg constructed a five-run second inning around one walk, three hits, and one bases-clearing error. Freshman right-hander
Sam Seegar (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) was the losing pitcher (2-1). Yudin and
