FREDONIA, N.Y. --
Shania Platt (Chaffee, N.Y.) and
Audrey Yokopovich (Webster, N.Y.) had two goals each as Fredonia rolled to a 5-1 women's soccer win over Elmira.
Platt put Fredona on top with her first collegiate goal in the 37th minute with a shot from the right flank.
The Blue Devils broke down the floodgates with four goals in a 15-minute span of the second half.
Yokopovich got things started in the 55th minute on a breakaway off a long through ball from
Erin Pratt (Rotterdam, N.Y.).
Aleeya Clemons (Olean, N.Y.) netted her team-leading eighth goal when she converted a three-way play started in the midfield by Yokopovich, who dropped a pass to
Abby Price (Naples, N.Y.), who in turn fed ahead to Clemons in the 58th minute.
Yokopovich scored her second goal from just inside the 18-yard line following a pass from Clemons in the 63rd minute. Platt's second goal of the game came in the 70th minute following a long through ball from
Lynda Croft (Syracuse, N.Y.).

Kendall Owczarzak (Lancaster. N.Y.) made six saves and came 11 seconds from recording her second shutout of the season when Jordyn Rousselle scored for the Soaring Eagles.
The Blue Devils, now 6-6, visit Cortland in a SUNYAC match 3 p.m. Friday.
