BRADENTON, Fla. -- Fredonia scored the final three goals of the first half to take control of its 10-7 Spring Fling get-away win Tuesday over St. Lawrence.
Samantha Spiess (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) had a goal and an assist during the run which erased a 3-2 Fredonia deficit. A goal by
Kristie Kleine (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) put the Blue Devils in front for good, 4-3.
Katie Miller (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) scored with 10 seconds left in the first half to complete the go-ahead rally.
Kleine finished with four goals and three assists, Miller and Spiess had three goals and one assist each, while
Audrey Yokopovich (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) had one assist, two ground balls, and six draw controls. Kleine was also credted with three draw controls while
Joelle Kadi (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) and
Juliana Kotas (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) collected three ground balls each.

Nicole Burrows (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) made nine saves.
The Blue Devils (3-3) won two of three games during their annual Florida trip. They came within seconds of sending the third game into overtime.
Next up is a trip home following by a Saturday afternoon meeting with Mount Union at Unversity Stadium. Game time is 1 p.m.
