PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -- The Fredonia men's basketball team suffered an 86-54 loss at Plattsburgh on Friday.
Ian Helps led the Devils with 19 points and nine rebounds.
Plattsburgh jumped out to a quick lead and led 46-23 at the half.
The Cards improved to 8-2 overall and 3-0 in the SUNYAC. They had four players in double digits, led by Kyle Richardson's 19 points. Plattsburgh held a 55-47 edge in rebounds.
A cold-shooting night cost the Devils. They were one of 16 from three point land and shot 11 of 26 (42 percent) from the line. From the floor, the Devils connected on 30 percent of their shots.
The Devils fall to 2-8 and 1-3 in the SUNYAC.
Fredonia travels to Potsdam Saturday afternoon for a 4 p.m. tipoff.
