BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Fredonia women were 167-108 swimming and diving winners Saturday at Brockport.
Individual winners included one woman who tripled and a pair who won two events each. The triple winner was senior
Sam Rokos (Delanson, N.Y./Duanesberg) in the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.81), the 100-yard freestyle (:54.68), and the 200-yard individual medley (2:18.39).
Double winners wereÂ
junior Danielle Dembrow (Lockport, N.Y./Lockport) in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.03) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:36.07), and junior
Meghan Bartlett (Johnstown, N.Y./Johnstown) in both springboard diving events. Bartlett scored 254.25 points in the 1-meter and 269.95 in the 3-meter.
Other solo winners were freshman
Caroline Bilotti (Spring Lake, N.Y./Manasquan) in the 200-yard butterfly (2:31.62) and junior
Chelsea Spiegel (Spencerport, N.Y./Spencerport) in the 500-yard freestyle (5:36.46).
The next-best performer was senior
Lauren Goeing (Clarence, N.Y./Clarence), who finished second in three events: the 100 breaststroke, the 200 breaststroke, and the 200 IM. Â
The Devils close out the home portion of their season next Saturday when they play host to Cortland at 1 p.m., prior to which the annual Senior Day ceremony will be held.
