all-time assist leader on

Senior setter
Kelly Edinger (Rochester, N.Y. / Greece Athena) also broke Fredonia's all-time assist record during the second set against Mount Saint Mary. Edinger, who has now totaled 3,577 assists, passed Alyssa Torpey's ('09) previous best mark of 3,572.
Though the Blue Devils struggled with hitting errors at times, they managed to beat New York University in four sets, 27-25, 25-18, 26-28, 25-21.
Jessica DiChristopher (Cheektowaga, N.Y. / West Seneca East) finished the match with 15 kills and only three errors for a .300 hitting percentage.
Kristen Stanek (Hamburg, N.Y. / Orchard Park) had a season-best 13 kills, while
Paulina Rein (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) had eight. Edinger had 36 assists in the match.
Against Mount Saint Mary, the Blue Devils found their seventh win easily in three sets, 25-19, 25-12, 25-12. DiChristopher had ten kills, while
Megan Collins (Burlingham, N.Y. / Pine Bush) and
Sara Madison (Rochester, N.Y. / Penfield) each had seven. Libero
Lauren Hokaj (Lancaster, N.Y. / St. Mary's of Lancaster) had 11 digs and four service aces.
Fredonia will finish off the Hawks Invitational on Saturday with matches against Stockton at 1 p.m. and Sage at 3 p.m.
