NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -- The Fredonia women's basketball team dropped a season-ending game, 68-46, at New Paltz on Saturday.
Jacque Law (Machias, N.Y. / Pioneer) led the team with 10 points and
Katie Devine (Clarence, N.Y. / Clarence) grabbed nine boards.
Sabrina Macaulay (Newark, N.Y. / Newark) added seven points and four steals.
New Paltz (17-8 overall, 13-5 SUNYAC) received 16 points from Colleen Ames off the bench. The Hawks opened the game on a 9-0 run, and led at the half, 32-19.
Fredonia ends the 2014-15 campaign at 9-15 overall and 6-12 in conference play. Seniors
Kaylyn Billups (Buffalo, N.Y. / CSAT) and
Marissa Cussins (Corning, N.Y. / Corning Painted Post West) played their final games in Blue Devil uniforms.
