GENEVA, N.Y. -- Fredonia gave up four unanswered goals in a season-ending 5-1 loss to Hobart.

Aaron Hayes (Hamburg, N.Y.) scored the lone Fredonia goal, a redirection off a cross from Ryan Ross (Grand Island, N.Y.) in the 35th minute.

The goal by Hayes, his first of the season, forged a 1-1 tie. It stayed that way until Derrick Acheampong scored for Hobart in the 53rd minute. It was the first of four straight goals by the Statesmen to close out the game.

Acheampong and J.P. White had two goals each and Mauhamed Diouf had one goal for Hobart.

The Blue Devils used three goalkeepers, who combined for eight saves. They used six keepers all season because of a combination of roster changes and injuries.

Fredonia finished with a 3-12-3 record.
