PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -- The Fredonia men's basketball team dropped a 73-41 decision at Plattsburgh on Saturday.
Freshmen
Ian Helps (Bronx, N.Y. / Greater New York Academy) was the only Blue Devil scoring in double digits, with 10 points. He also had team highs with six rebounds and three blocks. Fellow freshman
Justin Tapper (White Plains, N.Y. / White Plains) added nine points, five rebounds and three steals.
Plattsburgh (13-5, 8-3 SUNYAC)Â was paced by Jordan Moody with 19 points.
The Devils (2-15, 1-11 SUNYAC) return home to Steele Hall for three games next week. They play host to Elmira in a non-conference tilt on Tuesday. Oswego and Cortland visit during the weekend.
