BOXSCORE FT. MYERS, FLA -- The Fredonia State baseball team dropped tis contest against No. 20 ranked Johns Hopkins on Monday by a score of 8-0. The loss drops the Blue Devils to 4-4 on the season.
Freshman Mike Prentice made his first collegiate start behind the plate and collected two hits.
Ciro Frontale added the Blue Devils only other hit.
Joe Korszun got the start for Fredonia State going 4 2/3 innings giving up five earned runs.
Ben Senior came in to finish up the 5th inning and
Evan Carmello tossed the final three innings allowing four hits.
Hopkins improves to 7-2.
The Blue Devils will face Knox College at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
